Job Summary
Join our Technical Management / Construction department as a Deputy Head of Technical / Facility Management in Magdeburg. In this role, you will support the Head of Technical Operations both operationally and strategically, overseeing the entire technical area and acting as a deputy for the Technical Operations Manager when needed. Your responsibilities will include ensuring operator responsibility, monitoring legal regulations and environmental requirements (e.g., BetrSichV, VDE, fire safety), managing hospital-specific systems, and coordinating emergency management. You will also organize safety inspections, manage external service providers, and contribute to maintenance planning and documentation within a CAFM system. The position involves overseeing construction and renovation projects from planning to acceptance, managing procurement processes (VOB, UVgO, HOAI), and handling budget and contract management. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to the team, optimize internal processes, and prepare analyses for hospital management. This role requires a scientific university degree in building services, electrical engineering, building technology, or facility management, along with several years of professional experience in technical building management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Dipl.-Ing./ Bachelor/ Master) in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Technology, Facility Management, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in technical facility management, ideally within the hospital or healthcare sector.
- Experience with CAFM systems.
- Experience in public procurement law (VOB, UVgO, HOAI).
- Experience in managing construction, renovation, and investment measures.
- Experience in budget and contract management.
- Experience in leading technical teams.
