Job Summary
Join TÜV SÜD as an Electrical Engineering Master or Technician specializing in the expert inspection of electrical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring and continuously improving electrical safety, minimizing fire risks, and verifying compliance with standards for various electrical installations, including charging infrastructure, PV systems, and machinery. You will independently conduct initial and repeat inspections based on German regulations (DGUV V3 & 4, SVLFG) and relevant DIN VDE standards, as well as perform recurring building code inspections for safety-critical systems like emergency lighting and fire alarms. This position requires a proactive, independent approach within your designated region, making you a key contributor to safety and trust in new technologies.
Required Skills
Education
Master of Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Successfully completed training as a Master of Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, or at least as a state-certified technician.
- Several years of practical experience in the installation and operation of electrical systems.
- Solid basic knowledge and practical experience in conducting initial and repeat inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Profound knowledge of electrical engineering standards, particularly in the erection and operation of electrical systems, network systems (especially TT networks), and associated protective measures according to DIN VDE 0100-410.
- Confident and professional demeanor with a clear, solution-oriented communication style and the ability to convey technical content understandably and persuasively.

- Field service role within Germany (Landshut, Dingolfing, Rottal-Inn regions). Full-time, permanent contract. Must be able to work independently in the region.
