Job Summary
The Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture, and Rural Space (TMWLLR) is seeking a Policy Advisor (m/f/d) for its department focusing on fundamental issues of economic and business cycle policy. This full-time, permanent position involves the legal and substantive evaluation of issues in energy, economic, and labor market policy, as well as digital and civil protection policy concerning the economy. You will manage EU, Bundesrat, state parliament, and cabinet processes, represent the ministry in relevant committees, and assist in organizing events and preparing leadership meetings. The role requires the qualification to hold judicial office or a completed academic university degree (Diploma/Master) as a business lawyer, with specific knowledge in public economic law and economic policy issues being advantageous. Qualification to hold judicial office (according to § 5 DRiG) OR a completed academic university degree (Diploma/Master from a university or accredited Master from a University of Applied Sciences or Dual University) as a business lawyer. For foreign degrees, proof of equivalence to a German degree is required.

- Proof of qualification equivalence for foreign degrees must be submitted. The position is initially limited to civil servant status with the potential for permanent civil servant status (A 13 h. D. ThürBesG) after a probationary period. For existing civil servants, the transfer is status-equivalent. Part-time employment is possible upon individual assessment.
