Job Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our family-run, medium-sized company specializing in plastics processing. In this role, you will be responsible for the support, analysis, and optimization of control and automation systems in manufacturing. You will also contribute to the commissioning, adaptation, and further development of machinery and plants, ensuring the electrical functionality and safety of all production equipment. This position involves analyzing faults, developing sustainable technical solutions, and supporting projects in automation, digitalization, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and documentation, making them a key player in our innovative and quality-driven environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed electrical engineering apprenticeship or comparable qualification; further training as a technician in electrical engineering is desirable.
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Professional experience in control, automation, and drive technology
- Experience with sensor technology and machine wiring
- Experience reading and editing electrical schematics
- Experience with MS Office, ideally EPLAN and MES systems
- Experience in project management
