Job Summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in Stuttgart, Germany, focusing on the conception, configuration, and integration of complex hardware data applications for safety-critical railway systems. You will collaborate with tool developers, hardware engineers, and users to design future-proof project solutions within an agile, international environment. Key responsibilities include analyzing and specifying requirements for hardware project tools, developing concepts for hardware project planning, creating technical specifications for automating manual steps, and defining/validating templates and pilot applications. The role also involves evaluating new hardware components, defining data models, conducting integration and functional tests, and training users. This position offers a challenging role for individuals who can think holistically about complex technical contexts and take responsibility.
