Job Summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a System Architect for Relay Interlocking Systems to join their team in Ditzingen, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete hardware architecture of interlocking technology, including signal relay circuits and groups. You will conduct hardware architecture studies, analyze current railway systems, and ensure the documentation and specification of safety-relevant products. This position involves close communication with customers and stakeholders, supporting approval processes and safety assessments, and contributing to development processes with architectural decisions. You will also help develop future-oriented solutions for relay interlocking systems, considering cost-benefit analyses and technical feasibility of customer requirements. The role requires a degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, along with experience in railway technology, hardware architecture, and requirements management.
