Job Summary
Hitachi Rail is seeking a Power Supply Commissioning Engineer for their site in Ditzingen, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and commissioning power supply systems, coordinating site appointments, preparing test protocols, and ensuring comprehensive documentation. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for clients during testing and commissioning phases, ensuring systems function according to standards. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or High Voltage Engineering, or a Technician qualification with a corresponding focus, or equivalent.
Experience
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or High Voltage Engineering, or a technician qualification with a corresponding focus, or equivalent.
- Professional experience in power supply systems, ideally with experience in railway systems, building technology, or lightning protection and earthing.
- Experience with relevant DIN VDE standards and international IEC regulations.
- Experience in coordinating site appointments and managing subcontractors.
Languages
Additional
- Qualification as an electrical specialist for power supply systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Germany.
