Job Summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking an Electrical Systems Planning Inspector (m/f/d) to join their team in Ditzingen, Germany. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and safety of infrastructure projects by reviewing electrical engineering plans according to specific railway guidelines (VV BAU STE, RiL 819, RiL954, etc.). You will act as a recognized inspection expert (PSV) and serve as a technical advisor to internal and external clients, supporting them with planning requirements and project implementation. The position also involves mentoring and training new colleagues, contributing to process optimization, and driving the strategic development of the department. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital transformation projects within the sustainable mobility sector, making railway transport safer and more efficient.

Required Skills

Education

Completed studies in communications engineering, electrical and information technology, or comparable education and experience in Electrical Systems (EEA). Recognized planning inspection authorization for Electrical Systems. Ideally, construction document authorization or qualification as a railway construction supervisor, or willingness to qualify in these areas.
