Job Summary
Join our vital Maintenance and Reliability Engineering (RME) team, ensuring the continuous operation of our technical systems and facilities. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our conveyor, building, and production systems, upholding the highest safety standards and preventing equipment downtime. This role is crucial for maintaining high availability of technical systems and improving equipment quality. You will perform preventive maintenance, conduct repairs and fault diagnostics using the latest tools, and adhere to all safety guidelines. The position involves working on continuous improvement projects and implementing best practices across various EU sites, contributing directly to Amazon's efficient and innovative supply chain operations.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training certified by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts (HWK), OR a successfully completed university degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field) from a German university or recognized foreign university degrees (BA, B.Sc., MA, M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing.).
Experience
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in the relevant trade.
- Experience in the maintenance of industrial production facilities.
- Experience with condition-based monitoring.
- Experience working with vacuum systems and industrial trucks.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
