Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to develop, implement, and operate solutions for analyzing diverse data types including sensor, metering, network, location, and customer data. You will build and maintain data pipelines from sources like MongoDB and PostgreSQL into cloud platforms such as Snowflake, as well as on-premise solutions. This role involves developing automated ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and optimizing data architecture for interactive dashboards and reports. You will also provide real-time and batch analytics, visualizations, anomaly detection, and support operations through relevant reports. Collaboration with stakeholders for requirements gathering, prioritization, and implementation is key, alongside ensuring data privacy, security, and compliance across global regions. The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in Python, SQL, database management, cloud data architectures, and data pipeline design.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or comparable field
Experience
- Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering/Analytics
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud and/or hybrid data architectures (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Experience with data pipeline design and ETL/ELT processes
- Practical experience in data modeling and SQL optimization
- Experience with sensor, metering, or IoT data is advantageous
- Structured, analytical, and independent working style
- High solution and customer orientation
