Job Summary

This role involves leading the Facilities Management, Technical Services, and Cleaning Services departments for the Lower Saxony State Museums in Oldenburg, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of properties and historic, listed buildings, including overseeing structural maintenance, property management, and coordinating with state construction management for larger projects, as well as executing smaller construction initiatives. A key aspect of the role is ensuring workplace safety and coordinating related activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering or facility management, with proven experience in administration, demonstrating excellent organizational skills, resilience, and a collaborative spirit. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or University of Applied Sciences Diploma in Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering or Facility Management) or completion of Administrative Course II with proven knowledge in Facility Management

Experience

  • At least two years of experience in administration (desirable)
  • Experience in managing property matters for structural maintenance and management of properties and listed buildings
  • Experience in coordinating and overseeing construction measures
  • Experience in leading a team of 9 employees
