Job Summary
This PhD candidate position in Cellular Oncology offers a unique opportunity to investigate the molecular mechanisms linking DNA replication stress and mitotic dysfunction in human cancer cells. You will focus on the role of microtubule dynamics in causing chromosome missegregation, contributing to a deeper understanding of cancer evolution and therapy resistance. The role involves advanced cell biology and molecular biology techniques, including live cell microscopy and DNA combing, within a highly collaborative and stimulating research environment. Ideal candidates possess a strong Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields, with a keen interest in cancer research and cell biology. Experience with basic cell biology techniques, human tissue culture, and microscopy is advantageous.
