The Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) is seeking a Research Associate to manage the administrative affairs of the Institute for Functional Gene Analytics (IFGA). This role involves strategic development, fostering collaborations, and supporting research projects. You will be responsible for the institute's internal and external representation, science communication, and grant application support. The position requires a Master's degree in a life science or natural science field, experience in research or project management, and knowledge of funding landscapes. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December 31, 2030, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university studies (Master's degree or equivalent), ideally in a life science or natural science field.
Experience
- Experience in scientific, research, or project management, preferably within third-party funded projects or research institutions.
- Experience in managing administrative tasks for an institute or research group.
- Experience in developing strategic concepts and processes.
- Experience in building and maintaining collaborations with scientific institutions, companies, and regional innovation actors.
- Experience in supporting research projects organizationally and administratively.
- Experience in resource, investment, and personnel planning.
