Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Municipal Treasury to lead a team of five within the Treasury Department. This role involves overseeing daily treasury operations, managing payment transactions and liquidity in coordination with the Head of Finance, and ensuring compliance with budgetary and treasury regulations. You will also be responsible for debt collection procedures, representing the city in insolvency proceedings, and contributing to year-end closing activities. The position offers an opportunity to further develop financial and treasury processes, including digital payment methods and internal control systems. This is a permanent, full-time position with potential for growth and work-life balance.
Required Skills
Education
Completed Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, or Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt (FH), or comparable qualification with a focus on economics and finance, or completed further training as a Verwaltungsfachwirt (certified public administrator).
Experience
- Professional experience in municipal finance, treasury, and debt collection
- Experience in managing a team
- Experience with financial and treasury process development
