Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Shift Supervisor to lead a team of 30-50 employees in the Trim Chassis Seats assembly steps within General Assembly. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the sustainable production of the Tesla Model Y. This role involves coordinating the assembly process according to the production plan, managing production output to meet quantity and deadline targets while adhering to safety, quality, time, cost, and morale standards. You will also focus on productivity improvements through Lean Production, Continuous Improvement (KVP), and 5S methodologies. Additionally, you will contribute to SOPs and training plans, coach your team, and act as a brand ambassador.
Required Skills
Education
Craft or technical vocational training with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker)
Experience
- Experience in leading a production/manufacturing team, preferably in the automotive industry
- Professional experience in the automotive industry with the ability to organize multiple high-priority tasks
- Proven ability to set and achieve goals
- Experience with shift work (continuous alternating shift model, 6-day week expected)
