Job Summary

The Kommunalbetriebe Bünde, a subsidiary of the city of Bünde, is seeking a Head of Accounting to lead and coordinate their accounting department. This role involves managing financial accounting, fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable and payable, and cost accounting across all operational branches. The position requires leading a team of 8 employees, fostering collaboration, and supporting the conceptual development of financial relationships. Key responsibilities include economic and financial planning, preparing annual financial statements, liquidity planning, tax compliance, and implementing new financial accounting software. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial understanding, strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a structured, results-oriented approach to work.
