The Technical University of Dresden (TUD), a leading German research institution, is seeking a Scientific Researcher (Physicist) to join a DFG-funded research project focused on advanced design and atmospheric pressure fabrication technologies for future optical instrumentation. This role involves fundamental research into plasma processing for ultra-precise shaping, correction, and microstructuring of optical surfaces. You will contribute to developing and demonstrating an atmospheric pressure process chain for hybrid optical elements, investigating reactive plasma jet etching, and deriving optimal process parameters. The position also includes reporting, correspondence with international partners, and publishing scientific results.
