Job Summary
The company Mindener Wärme is seeking a Technical Project Manager for District Heating to actively drive the energy transition in Minden. This role involves leading technical projects, supporting sales for district heating connections, and contributing to the realization and development of the district heating network and facilities. You will also assist in the operation and advancement of the heat generation park, and participate in network management and planning, including steering external service providers. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification, ideally with knowledge in civil engineering, measurement and control technology, process control, and/or electrical engineering. Strong analytical skills, a hands-on mentality, and excellent communication are essential for this future-oriented position within a growing company.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Engineering (e.g., Energy, Utilities, Mechanical, or Process Engineering), or a state-certified technician (e.g., in Utilities or Energy Technology), or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in project management, specifically in technical projects
- Experience in the implementation and development of district heating networks or similar infrastructure
- Experience with external service provider management
- Experience in maintenance and repair planning is desirable
- Experience as a planning engineer is desirable
