Job Summary

Join a leading company in plant engineering as a Hardware Developer. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing analog and digital electronic circuits, including schematic and PCB layout creation, and managing PCB manufacturing with subcontractors. This role involves programming hardware, particularly low-level firmware, in collaboration with software developers, assembling and testing prototypes, and performing troubleshooting and optimization. You will also create manufacturing instructions, user manuals, test specifications, and documentation. The position offers a versatile role with good prospects in an international company, flexible working hours within a 35-hour week, and comprehensive onboarding by experienced colleagues in a supportive team environment.

Required Skills

Education

Dipl.-Ing. (University Degree) in Electrical Engineering or comparable field of study, with additional knowledge of microcontrollers, associated firmware, and measurement technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development of analog and digital circuits
  • Experience in firmware development of microcontrollers (C or C++) is advantageous
  • Experience in EMC-compliant circuit design and related testing/optimization is desirable
  • Interest in interdisciplinary questions regarding mechanics, electrical engineering, measurement technology, and software development
