Job Summary

The Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA), Germany's federal real estate service provider, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Specialist to join their Facility Management division in Cottbus or Potsdam. In this role, you will provide technical support to construction managers for electrical aspects of construction projects, potentially leading sub-projects. Your responsibilities will include project management, technical oversight, preparing cost estimates and tender documents, and managing construction processes. You will also handle specific electrical engineering questions and review contracts, offers, and invoices. The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, ideally with professional experience in large-scale construction projects and existing buildings. Familiarity with HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers) regulations and SAP is also beneficial.

Completed university degree (Diplom (FH) / Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Electrical Engineering, particularly in large-scale projects and construction in existing buildings (ideal)
  • Sound knowledge of all service phases of the HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers)
  • Good project management skills (ideal)
  • User knowledge of SAP or willingness to acquire it quickly
  • Proficiency with IT standard applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
