Job Summary

plusswerk is seeking an IT System Administrator for a full-time, permanent position in Kirchen, Germany, through a project-based temporary employment arrangement with potential for direct hire. In this role, you will be responsible for server administration (MS Windows, Linux), managing virtualization environments, IT security, network and firewall administration, site networking, software and patch management for clients and servers, and supporting phone systems and mobile devices. You will also provide basic support for printing, scanning, and CAD workstations, and offer user help desk services via phone and remote access. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT education, strong knowledge of client/server operating systems and standard software, a holistic understanding of IT operations, and a security-conscious approach.
