Job Summary
This role involves the maintenance, testing, and care of measurement stations within a nationwide network for measuring ambient gamma dose rates. You will be responsible for planning field service trips, conducting on-site measurements using mobile gamma spectrometers, and ensuring the operational readiness of vehicles and the measurement network. The position requires a certified technician in electrical engineering or physics technology with knowledge of digital data transmission, radio technology, and electronic data processing. Ideally, you will have experience in radiation protection, DGUV3 inspections, and lightning/surge protection. The role also involves participation in radiological emergency response and potentially taking on the role of a safety officer. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay based on a collective agreement.
Required Skills
Education
Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering (preferably with a focus on Information and Communication Technology) or Physics Technology
Experience
- Professional experience in digital data transmission and radio technology
- Professional experience in electronic data processing
- Experience in radiation protection is ideal
- Experience with DGUV3 inspections is ideal
- Experience with lightning and surge protection is ideal
- Experience working with low voltage networks (230V mains voltage)
- Experience in field service and willingness to travel
- Experience driving a vehicle (Class B or 3 driver's license)
