Job Summary

This role is a strategic leadership position overseeing the finance, accounting, and controlling functions for a large social organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy, ensuring proper accounting practices compliant with non-profit requirements, and advancing the controlling department. Key duties include financial planning (economic, investment, liquidity), managing grant and project controlling, and ensuring adherence to funding guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a business degree or equivalent, significant experience in finance and accounting (preferably in social or non-profit sectors), and a strong understanding of German accounting standards (HGB), consolidated financial statements, and non-profit/grant law. Strategic thinking, innovation, and leadership skills are essential for guiding teams and contributing to informed business decisions.
