Job Summary

This role is for an IT System Administration and Support Specialist within the IT department of the Bishop's Ordinary, serving as a central IT service provider. You will be responsible for the administration and further development of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, and end devices. Key duties involve ensuring stable IT operations through monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, as well as handling 1st and 2nd level support requests via a ticketing system and IT hotline. You will also participate in 3rd level support, technical problem analysis, and IT projects like Microsoft 365 and backup/restore concepts. The position requires a proactive approach to IT security, patch management, and automation of recurring tasks, along with creating and maintaining technical documentation. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT degree (Bachelor or Master) or completed IT training with relevant professional experience

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT system operation and administration (servers, networks, storage, backup, operating systems)
  • Experience with Microsoft environments (Microsoft 365, Windows Server/RDS)
  • Experience with firewalls
  • Experience in IT projects
