Job Summary
The Trier-Saarburg district administration is seeking a Digitalization Officer to join their Central Services and Digitalization department. This role involves managing and implementing digitalization projects within public administration, focusing on the Online Access Act (OZG). You will be responsible for introducing and supporting e-government applications, particularly in document management and internal scanning processes. A key part of the job includes configuring and administering the civento application platform for online services, analyzing and redesigning administrative processes in collaboration with other departments, and advising colleagues on digitalization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in public administration or economics, strong IT affinity, and a proactive approach to learning and developing new digital solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Public administration or finance career examination for the 3rd entry level; OR Successfully completed economics or other suitable field of study (Bachelor or Diploma) with sound knowledge of administrative processes; OR Successfully completed the second examination for employees in municipal administrative and cash services.
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or economics
- Experience with digitalization projects, particularly in e-government
- Experience with legal requirements (OZG, EGovGRP) or willingness to acquire them quickly
- Experience in process analysis, design, and management
- Experience with MS Office products
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to independently research and develop new tasks and subject areas. High social and communication skills, initiative. Ability to work in teams and projects.
