Job Summary

We are seeking an Application Specialist for Hospital Information Systems (KIS) to join our innovative and collaborative team in Fürth. In this role, you will be responsible for the support, administration, and optimization of our hospital information system, ORBIS, including its modules, add-ons, and interfaces. You will also assist with other medical and non-medical applications, manage projects, and support the introduction of new digital technologies. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical or health informatics, or a related IT qualification with significant professional experience. Strong communication skills, experience with KIS administration, and knowledge of relevant technical standards are essential. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Medical Informatics, Health Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification such as an IT apprenticeship with several years of professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in the administration of hospital information systems, ideally ORBIS and its modules, add-ons, and interfaces
  • Experience in supporting medical/non-medical applications is desirable
  • Experience in knowledge transfer and conducting training sessions
  • Experience in independent project work and use-case consulting (e.g., as a project member and/or project lead)
  • Professional experience in IT
