Job Summary
This role involves leading, directing, and coordinating IT management for schools within the city of Frankfurt (Oder). The Head of IT Management will be responsible for observing ICT needs, developing concepts, managing IT projects, and overseeing service processes. Key duties include planning and controlling service delivery, ensuring IT infrastructure operations, managing support systems, and overseeing procurement and contracts. The position also entails evaluating and introducing new technical solutions, managing hardware and software acquisitions, and providing consultation and training to school staff on IT usage and data security. The role requires a proactive, responsible, and team-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, aiming to enhance the city's educational technology landscape.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Information and Communication Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree. Alternatively, a university of applied sciences degree as a Certified Computer Scientist (FH) or Diplomingenieur (BA), or comparable qualifications.
