Job Summary

This role is for a Department Controller and Deputy Department Manager within the Central Services of the Marketing + Communication department for the City of Dortmund. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and controlling budgets and business operations, including cost accounting and internal control systems. A key part of the role involves preparing documents for political committees and handling inquiries, as well as representing the Department Manager. The position requires strong administrative and financial management skills, particularly in municipal finance, cost accounting, and procurement. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is essential. Completion of the 'IHK' Certified Accountant course is desirable. The Certified Accountant course from the Studieninstitut is also recognized.
