Job Summary

Join HUK-COBURG, a leading German insurance group, as a Database Engineer. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for creating database concepts and system architectures, establishing standards, and building and operating DevOps/automation toolchains including CI/CD. You will ensure service levels, integrate database systems into production, identify and resolve vulnerabilities, and develop self-service solutions. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, extensive experience with at least one database system, and ideally cloud experience (AWS). You should be comfortable with complex system landscapes, HA architectures, and possess strong analytical, communication, and innovation skills.
