Job Summary
The University of Trier is seeking an SAP Transformation Manager to lead the planning and execution of migrating its current SAP ECC environment to S/4HANA. This role involves managing the transformation across key functional areas including HR, travel, finance, controlling, procurement, and organization management. You will be responsible for the conceptual and structural development of the future S/4HANA system within the university's IT architecture, including the integration of cloud and AI technologies. The position requires coordinating project teams, managing external service providers, monitoring project goals (quality, time, budget), and supporting the change process within the university to ensure acceptance of new systems. The role offers a diverse and responsible position at the intersection of knowledge and administration, contributing to the university's strategic development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed, relevant university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Approximately 3 years of professional experience, ideally in a university or public sector environment.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies and projects.
- Experience in managing complex IT projects within a university or public sector setting (ideal).
- Project experience with SAP S/4HANA (ideal).
- Experience in managing external service providers.
- Experience in stakeholder and change management.
