Job Summary
We are seeking a Hardware Development Engineer specializing in Power Electronics for a prominent client in the energy technology sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of electronic assemblies for nuclear safety control systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include creating specifications, designing analog electronic modules, performing circuit design and calculations, simulating circuits, and overseeing PCB layout. You will also manage test series, coordinate with suppliers, prepare manufacturing documentation, and contribute to technical project leadership in R&D. This position requires a Master's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Control Engineering, or a related field, along with solid experience in electronics development, hardware design, and circuit design, particularly in power electronics topologies, semiconductors, and passive components. Strong knowledge of analog circuit technology and EMC-compliant PCB design is essential.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Experience
- Professional experience in electronics development, hardware design, or circuit design
- In-depth knowledge of power electronics (topologies, semiconductors, passive components)
- Very good knowledge of analog circuit technology
- Sound experience in EMC-compliant PCB design, simulation, and circuit analysis
- Ideally, experience with PSPICE and ZUKEN CR8000
