Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for employees experiencing IT issues, ensuring the stable and secure operation of IT workstations through professional first and second-level support. Your day-to-day will involve handling support requests via phone, email, or remote access, managing incidents and service requests, and maintaining user accounts and access rights within Active Directory and Microsoft 365. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IT workstations (Windows and macOS), preparing new workstations, and documenting IT processes. This role offers a dynamic work environment with direct user interaction and significant scope for shaping IT services, contributing to a leading European provider of specialized medical centers.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable IT-related qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT support, ideally in a Service Desk environment (1st and 2nd-level support).
- Professional experience with MS Windows, MS Office, Apple/macOS, and Microsoft 365.
- Basic knowledge of IT security measures (e.g., Firewalls, Antivirus Software, Data Backup).
- Basic knowledge of network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
