Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Head of QHSE to develop, implement, and continuously improve an integrated Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management system, aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards. You will ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies, conduct audits and inspections, and analyze QHSE metrics to drive optimization. This role involves leading complaint, incident, and accident management processes, fostering a strong QHSE culture through training and collaboration, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in engineering, safety, environmental, or quality management, or equivalent qualifications, coupled with several years of experience in QHSE or its sub-disciplines. Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, experience with management system development, and excellent communication skills are essential for this impactful position.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Management, Quality Management, or comparable qualification such as Technician/Master Craftsman, further training as a Safety Specialist according to DGUV Regulation 2 and at least QMB (Quality Management Representative).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in QHSE or its sub-disciplines (Quality, Occupational Safety, Environment)
- Experience in establishing and further developing management systems aligned with common standards
- Experience in conducting internal and external audits and safety inspections
- Experience in leading and developing complaint, deviation, emergency, and accident management processes
- Experience in training and coaching employees in QHSE-relevant topics
