Job Summary

Lead a team of senior scientists and engineers focused on advancing applications knowledge within a downstream bioprocessing portfolio. As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical guidance on complex challenges related to filtration and chromatography, and serve as an Applications Lead on new product development projects to accelerate commercial readiness. You will define technical priorities, manage support for new product launches, and resolve escalated customer technical questions. This role involves collaborating with R&D, translating scientific signals into development priorities, representing the company at industry events, and authoring scientific content. The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 12-15+ years of experience, or Master's with 10-12+, or PhD with 8-10+, along with deep expertise in downstream bioprocessing (chromatography, filtration), team leadership, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Strong scientific communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in downstream bioprocessing, with deep practical knowledge in chromatography, filtration, or both
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technical teams
  • Solid experience with biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and key modalities (e.g., mAbs, recombinant proteins, viral vectors)
  • Experience as a subject matter expert or applications lead on complex, multi-stakeholder R&D projects
  • Established network within the downstream bioprocessing community
