Job Summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Signaling and Train Control Systems (LST) Planner specializing in BOStrab regulations for urban and suburban rail public transport. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical and operational conception of complex LST projects, developing future-proof system architectures and safety certifications for interlocking and control technology. You will act as the central technical point of contact, translating traffic engineering requirements into actionable solutions and negotiating technical details with clients and stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to drive the modernization and digitalization of German public transport, guiding projects from concept to commissioning while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence. The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, extensive planning experience in signaling technology, and a strong understanding of BOStrab regulations.

Experience

  • Long-standing professional experience in signaling technology planning
  • Initial experience in technical leadership is ideal
  • Proven expertise in LST within public transport (ÖPNV)
