Job Summary

Join a leading manufacturer of magnetic materials as a Materials Scientist in Hanau. This role involves conducting comprehensive metallographic investigations and tests using light and electron microscopy. You will lead and participate in R&D projects, plan and coordinate material analyses, and develop new analytical methods, including correlative microscopy. Responsibilities include sample preparation, measurements using light microscopes and SEM, and independent evaluation and reporting of results. The ideal candidate holds an M.Sc. in Materials Science or a related field, possesses strong knowledge of metallographic preparation and examination techniques, and has specific expertise in modern analysis methods like Machine Learning for quantitative microstructure analysis and digital image processing, preferably with Python. Good English skills are required.
