Job Summary

AIRBUS is seeking an IT Expert for Backup & Storage in Immenstaad am Bodensee to manage and secure IT data and storage systems. This role involves operational responsibility for Storage & Backup in Germany, ensuring stable, high-quality infrastructure operations based on ITIL principles. You will administer the Storage & Backup infrastructure, support the planning and implementation of new solutions, manage costs, and provide technical support for root cause analysis and incident resolution. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a completed vocational training as an IT specialist or IT system electronics technician, with over 3 years of professional experience in IT/Information Systems. Experience with NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault, or similar, along with knowledge of storage (Block, File, Object, SyncMirror) and backup technologies (Virtual, Disk, Tape, Recovery), is essential. Fluency in both German and English is required.
