Job Summary
Join GEA in Oelde as an IT Business Application Consultant focused on manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in a global SAP transformation project (T360), analyzing, designing, and implementing SAP-based ERP solutions for production. This involves creating requirement analyses, technical specifications, configuring solutions, and training users. You'll also support business applications and logistics processes, manage incidents, and handle escalations. The ideal candidate has a degree in IT, Business Informatics, or Business Administration, with several years of SAP consulting experience, particularly in manufacturing. Strong analytical, communication, and customer orientation skills are essential, along with good English and German proficiency.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in SAP consulting, preferably in mechanical and plant engineering.
- Comprehensive expertise in the implementation and configuration of production processes with SAP (SAP PP, ideally supplemented by PP/DS and aATP).
- Profound experience in integration with other SAP modules (MM, EWM, WM, SD, FICO).
- Experience in the MES area is desirable.
- Experience in supporting business applications and processes in the logistics sector.
