Job Summary
Visionix, a global leader in optical technology, is seeking a Workshop Technician with foundational IT skills to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing sophisticated electromechanical devices used by opticians, primarily through remote support via PC and phone, and hands-on repair in the workshop. You will also inspect and repair new and demo equipment, and occasionally assist colleagues on-site. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced technologies in refraction, diagnostics, and screening, contributing to efficient workflows and precise results in eye care. You will play a key role in ensuring high customer satisfaction and supporting the sales team by introducing customers to the full range of Visionix products.
