Job Summary
DIAKOVERE, a leading non-profit employer in Northern Germany, seeks an IT Specialist to serve as a Vocational Educator within their vocational training center. This full-time, permanent role involves training and supporting individuals pursuing a career as IT Specialists in Application Development. You will also mentor apprentices in regional partner companies, help recruit these partners, and manage joint projects. Key responsibilities include documenting learning progress and ensuring smooth integration of apprentices. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, preferably in application development, and possess excellent social engagement and empathy for individuals with disabilities. While formal teaching qualifications like AEVO are desirable, they can be acquired during employment. Required Skills
Education
Completed apprenticeship in the IT sector, preferably in Application Development. AEVO (Trainer Aptitude Examination) qualification and proof of personal suitability according to BBiG (Vocational Training Act) are desirable but can be acquired during the role. Rehabilitation pedagogical additional qualification is also desirable but can be acquired.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT, preferably in Application Development.
- Ideally, several years of experience in theoretical and practical knowledge transfer and mentoring of apprentices and employees.
- Experience in recruiting partner companies is desirable.
- Experience in managing joint projects is desirable.
