Job Summary
This role offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension, based in Manchester, Amsterdam, or Berlin. As an Associate Installer Support Engineer, you will act as a crucial escalation point for channel partners installing and servicing Tesla's residential energy products. Your day-to-day will involve providing real-time diagnostics and solutions via phone, chat, or email, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and becoming a subject matter expert on Tesla's solar, storage, and home charging systems. Key requirements include fluency in English and Italian, a technical or engineering degree or 2+ years of technician experience, and a strong understanding of electrical theory and AC/DC power systems. Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a technician role OR a Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field
- Experience and understanding of customer service, technical support, and engineering environments
- Experience troubleshooting metering and communications issues involving many variables
- Professional experience with emphasis on AC/DC power systems or other electronic systems, devices and components
