Job Summary
Join Tesla's Installer Support team as an Associate Installer Support Engineer, a 12-month fixed-term contract role with potential for extension. This position is based in Manchester, Amsterdam, or Berlin. You will act as an escalation point for channel partners, providing real-time technical diagnostics and solutions for residential Tesla energy products (solar, storage, home charging). Your day-to-day will involve troubleshooting complex issues via phone, chat, and email, documenting interactions meticulously, and becoming a subject matter expert on Tesla's innovative energy systems. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or engineering degree or 2+ years of technician experience, fluency in English and German, and a strong understanding of electrical theory and AC/DC power systems. Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a technician role OR Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field
- Experience and understanding of customer service, technical support, and engineering environments
- Experience troubleshooting metering and communications issues
- Experience with emphasis on AC/DC power systems or other electronic systems, devices and components

- Fixed-term contract (12 months) with possibility of extension. Ability to independently make decisions and solve problems with limited direction. Ability to prioritize workflows effectively according to multiple criteria. Electrical engineering knowledge and/or experience is a plus.
