Job Summary

This role involves the systematic research, identification, and analysis of EU, federal, and state funding opportunities for the Police Department of Cologne. You will be responsible for building sustainable funding partnerships, developing project proposals and grant applications, managing and accounting for grants, and establishing a central grant register. The position also includes implementing reporting and controlling mechanisms, advising departments on funding regulations, and creating an internal knowledge management system with a newsletter. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in business administration, economics, economic psychology, or business law, along with strong knowledge of administrative, grant, and procurement law. Excellent MS Office skills and good English proficiency are also required.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Economic Psychology, Business Law, or a comparable field with an economic focus.

Experience

  • Professional experience in grant management or a related field.
  • Experience in researching and analyzing funding programs.
