Job Summary
Join a leading European technology services platform as an IT System Integrator, focusing on challenging projects within the defense industry. You will be responsible for the implementation, installation, configuration, and optimization of complex communication, radio, and network components, including routers, firewalls, servers, and sensors. Your role involves system testing, troubleshooting, creating technical documentation, and user training. This position offers a secure, permanent contract with above-average compensation, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development through the FERCHAU Academy. The role requires significant travel within central Germany.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical apprenticeship or degree in IT or Electrical Engineering (e.g., System Integration, Digital Networking, or comparable qualification)
Experience
- Professional experience in system integration projects within technically demanding environments
- Experience in installing and configuring communication, radio, and network components
- Experience in adapting, optimizing, and updating system configurations, firmware, and operating systems
- Experience in conducting functional and integration tests
- Experience in analyzing and resolving technical issues
- Experience in creating technical documentation and user guides
- Experience with wireless communication systems
- Experience with documentation, ticket, and project management systems
- Professional experience with IP networks (addressing, routing, switching)
- Professional experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies
