Job Summary

SPITZKE is seeking a Head of Rail Machining to lead nationwide rail machining projects. This role involves the professional planning, execution, and control of all rail grinding processes, ensuring compliance with relevant German railway (DB) guidelines and standards. You will be responsible for personnel and machine scheduling, monitoring deadlines, quality, and costs, acting as a central interface with clients, authorities, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution from planning to billing. The position offers modern technology, autonomous work, short decision-making paths, and a strong team environment. Ideal candidates possess a technical apprenticeship, extensive experience in track construction, and ideally, leadership experience.
