Job Summary
Join the TECLION AI Competence Center at the Kassel Tax Office as a Senior Test Manager to actively shape the digital transformation of public administration. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and executing software tests for complex IT projects, ensuring software quality across all test stages. This role involves developing and maintaining test plans for functional and non-functional requirements, advancing test strategies, and collaborating closely with development teams and IT project management. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to AI-driven applications and the modernization of tax administration IT infrastructure within the federal KONSENS project. Ideal candidates possess a Master's degree in a relevant field, extensive experience in software testing, and strong knowledge of test methodologies and automation.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or a comparable field, or equivalent skills and experience. ISTQB® Certified Tester (Foundation Level) or similar certifications are ideal.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in software testing or as a Test Manager
- Experience in testing Responsive Web Applications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with ticket systems (e.g., Youtrack or JIRA)
- Professional experience in developing and implementing software tests in complex IT projects
- Professional experience in creating and maintaining test plans for functional and non-functional requirements
- Professional experience in advancing test strategies, concepts, and plans
- Professional experience in ensuring software quality across all test stages
- Professional experience in building reproducible acceptance and functional tests
- Professional experience in integrating accessibility standards into test concepts
- Professional experience in documenting requirements and converting them into test documentation and planning
