Job Summary

Join a renowned client in the HR and payroll sector as a Payroll Specialist in the Heilbronn area. In this full-time role, you will independently manage payroll and salary calculations for a designated group of employees, maintain employee master data, and serve as the primary contact for staff regarding payroll and social security inquiries. You will also handle correspondence with social security institutions, tax authorities, and other agencies, and prepare statistics, reports, and support year-end closing activities and audits. The ideal candidate possesses a completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training in payroll, and professional experience in payroll or personnel accounting. Strong knowledge of wage tax and social security law, proficiency with payroll software (e.g., DATEV, SAP HR) and MS Office (especially Excel), and a meticulous, independent, and solution-oriented work approach are essential. High discretion, reliability, and good communication skills are also required.
