Job Summary
Goodyear is seeking an Industrial Technical Trainer to join their team in Hanau. In this role, you will be responsible for training industrial-technical apprentices, specifically in fields like electronics, industrial mechanics, and machine and plant operation. Your duties will include conducting foundational training in metal, electrical, and control engineering, preparing apprentices for exams, and coordinating their practical experience in various departments. You will also collaborate closely with HR, departments, vocational schools, and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), including participation in examination committees. A key aspect of the role involves organizing and overseeing safety-related tasks and conducting workplace instruction. This position requires a strong educational background, proven teaching aptitude, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to foster the development of apprentices.
Required Skills
Education
Completed master craftsman or technician qualification in a relevant technical field, or a university degree with subsequent professional practice, or an equivalent further qualification. Passed instructor aptitude ordinance (§6 AEVO).
Experience
- Completed master craftsman or technician training in a relevant technical field with several years of professional experience, OR a completed university degree with subsequent professional practice, OR an equivalent further qualification.
- Certified trainer for recognized apprenticeships (passed instructor aptitude ordinance §6 AEVO).
- Professional skills and knowledge, as well as occupational and pedagogical knowledge for imparting training content.
- Experience in the training and development of apprentices.

- Proof of personal suitability (§29 BBiG) through an extended police clearance certificate. Willingness to participate in IHK examination committees.
