Job Summary

Hugo Benzing is seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to enhance the quality and efficiency of their production processes, with a specific emphasis on the heat treatment of steel and non-ferrous metals. Your daily tasks will involve metallographic investigations, planning and optimizing heat treatment processes (ideally with experience in continuous furnaces), conducting root cause analyses, and implementing process improvements. You will also drive the development of production KPIs, manage shop floor activities, document processes, and handle customer communication for reclamations and optimizations. The ideal candidate possesses a technical degree in fields like materials science or mechanical engineering, strong knowledge of steel heat treatment, and experience in metallographic analysis. Analytical thinking, a process-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills are crucial for this role.
