Job Summary

The Municipality of Rommerskirchen is seeking a full-time, permanent Building Manager to join their central caretaker service. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and minor repairs of municipal properties, including schools and daycare centers. Your duties will involve performing small maintenance and repair tasks, such as replacing and fixing fixtures, clearing blockages, and removing weeds. The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational training in a relevant trade (e.g., plumbing, electrical, woodworking) or equivalent professional experience as a caretaker. You should be a team player, responsible, flexible, and reliable, with strong interpersonal skills. A Class B driver's license is required.
